Bahasa Malaysia

Contraception or family planning refers to methods and techniques used to prevent unintended pregnancy.

The proper use of contraceptives can reduce the risks for both mothers and babies from complications associated with unintended pregnancies, unsafe abortions and problems during childbirth.

Contraceptives, such as condom not only prevent pregnancy but also act as a barrier against transmission of sexually transmitted infections.

Remember, one size does not fit all! Discuss with your gynaecologist for further information and guidance.
